The Allen & Heath dLive CDM48 MixRack is the engine at the centre of any dLive live sound system. Its XCVI processing core — developed in-house by Allen & Heath using next-generation FPGA technology — delivers 25 billion operations per second through 36 parallel virtual processing cores, generating the headroom to run 160×64 channels of processing simultaneously at a 96kHz sampling rate. Six parallel mixing engines calculate more than 10,000 crosspoints per sample, while the FPGA router supports 3,000×3,000 audio paths — making the dLive CDM48 capable of handling the most demanding large-scale live productions. Ultra-low 0.7ms latency and a 96-bit mix accumulator ensure both timing accuracy and virtually unlimited headroom for professional results.
